The M.Voc. (Master of Vocation) program in IT-ITES (Information Technology - Information Technology Enabled Services) with a specialization in Cyber Security is designed to prepare students for careers in the rapidly evolving field of cybersecurity. This program equips students with the knowledge and skills required to protect digital assets, secure information systems, and mitigate cyber threats in today's interconnected world.
The curriculum covers a wide range of topics, including network security, cryptography, ethical hacking, digital forensics, risk management, and regulatory compliance. Students learn about the latest cybersecurity technologies, tools, and techniques used to identify vulnerabilities, detect intrusions, and respond to security incidents effectively.
Throughout the program, students engage in hands-on lab exercises, simulations, and real-world case studies to gain practical experience in assessing, securing, and defending computer networks and systems against cyber threats. They learn to analyze security breaches, investigate cybercrimes, and develop strategies to prevent future attacks.
Additionally, students develop a strong understanding of legal and ethical issues related to cybersecurity, as well as the importance of compliance with industry standards and regulations such as GDPR, HIPAA, and PCI DSS.
